Hello!
This month, I was promoted to Head of Engineering, US at work. I’m excited about all the things I’m going to learn and everything this team is going to accomplish.
I had a great time at LibertyJS; there were a lot of great talks, and I made some new friends, as well as catching up with some folks I hadn’t seen in a while. I had honestly forgotten how fun conferences are! I’m also at the makebetter.email email interoperability summit this week, which will extend a few more days into November — this has already been valuable in a few ways, and I’m looking forward to the next steps that come out of this.
So clearly all of that has been taking up most of my energy this month!

This month, I finished Fool’s Assassin by Robin Hobb. It was a lot of exposition, but I got pretty wrapped up in the story, and immediately picked up the next book in the series.
